Arabia . New 3D Movie

A NEW FILM TELLING THE STORY OF 2,000 YEARS OF ARABIAN HISTORY IS NOW SHOWING AT SELECT LOCATIONS IN THE UNITED STATES AND INTERNATIONAL VENUES.
The film "Arabia" — a "giant screen adventure" — premiered at IMAX and IMAX 3D theaters last month and received high marks from reviewers. “Arabia” is a sweeping portrait of the history, culture and religion of the Arabian Peninsula, a mix of contemporary scenes of modern-day Arabian life, epic historical recreations of ancient civilizations, and stunning digital visual effects.
Featured in “Arabia” is Saudi Arabian female activist, writer, and poet Nimah Ismail Nawwab. She provides a rich perspective on women in modern-day Arabia in the film, and guides the audience on the Hajj, the pilgrimage to Makkah of some three million Muslims.
Produced and distributed by MacGillivray Freeman Films, "Arabia" is presented in association with the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) of London. Academy Award-winning actress Helen Mirren is the narrator for “Arabia.” Distinguished British author and historian Robert Lacey also narrates a segment in the film.
